Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Corporate Development role drives financial modeling, valuation analyses, business and financial due diligence, and other workstreams key to executing M&A deals. The role works collaboratively with internal leaders and external stakeholders to support successful deal execution.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial modeling, valuation, and business and financial due diligence activities.
  • Prepare deal theses, diligence packs, approval materials, executive level presentations, and other materials that drive successful deal execution.
  • Contribute to transaction recommendations, deal structures, and key considerations to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders across Industry, Practice, and functional teams to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Assist in communicating deal structure, economics, and strategic rationale to prospective acquisition targets.
  • Coordinate deal progression from discovery through execution of definitive agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required, with 3-5 years of experience in M&A, financial modeling, and due diligence.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross functional initiatives.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience managing virtual data rooms.
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills with strong process orientation and high attention to detail.
  • Advanced financial and analytical capabilities.
  • High level of comfort presenting to executive leadership teams and Boards.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $80,000 to $108,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws. 

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
