Job description

Position: Dive Division Supply Support Specialist

Type: Full-time

Location: Coronado, California

Travel: 10%

**Contingent Upon Award**

Position Summary: The Dive Division Supply Support Specialist provides comprehensive logistics and inventory management support for diving equipment and Major Force Program (MFP) material. This role is responsible for the receipt, issue, tracking, and accountability of equipment, as well as coordinating procurement actions and supporting contracting processes. The specialist ensures accurate documentation, compliance with Navy supply procedures, and availability of critical dive equipment. This position directly supports operational readiness by maintaining supply chain efficiency and equipment accountability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage receipt, issue, turn-over, and shipment of diving material for Naval Special Warfare (NSW) West Coast activities
  • Maintain inventory accountability using the Equipment Logistics Management System (ELMS)
  • Perform customer service for equipment issue/receipt and maintain associated documentation
  • Verify all supply transactions, including:
  • National Stock Numbers (NSN)
  • Part numbers and stock numbers
  • Quantities, descriptions, and cost
  • Manage initial equipment receipt, sustainment, and operational consumables
  • Submit and track Statements of Work (SOW) for diving equipment contracting services (e.g., execute Exhibit Line Item Numbers (ELINs) under Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts)
  • Place and review supply orders using systems including:
  • Bizflow
  • FEDMALL
  • ONETOUCH
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to support equipment maintenance requirements
  • Maintain Authorized Users List (AUL) for hazardous materials
  • Ensure availability and proper management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for authorized hazardous materials
  • Conduct inventories of diving equipment, repair parts, consumables, and associated gear
  • Report inventory and supply status to the Dive Responsible Officer
  • Submit and track:
  • Funding Request Forms (FRF)
  • Unfunded Requests (UFR)

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizen
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum of two (2) years of technical experience in:
  • Naval Special Warfare (NSW) or equivalent Type Commander (TYCOM) environment
  • Inventory management concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of government and industry inventory management best practices
  • Experience with equipment Logistics Management System (ELMS) user with Warehouse Manager permissions
  • Must be able to operate Government vehicles and equipment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must maintain high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have knowledge of logistics and inventory systems
  • Must be capable of operating within classified environments and systems (Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) / Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET))
  • Must comply with all safety, security, and workplace regulations

Physical Ability to:

  • Ability to lift and move supply items, equipment, and materials
  • Capability to work in warehouse, storage, and operational environments
  • Ability to operate inventory systems and handle documentation for extended periods
  • Ability to safely handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in accordance with regulations

The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
