About Cornerstone Caregiving:
At Cornerstone Caregiving, caregiving is more than a job it's a calling. We provide compassionate, personalized in-home care that allows seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We value our caregivers and are committed to providing a supportive work environment, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth.
We are currently hiring experienced caregivers throughout North County San Diego.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance.
Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide medication reminders.
Escort clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
Assist with dementia and Alzheimer's care when needed.
Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Follow each client's individualized care plan.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of professional or family caregiving experience preferred.
Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
Ability to pass a background check.
Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Negative TB Test completed within 90 days prior to hire, or willingness to complete one within 7 days of hire.
CPR certification is a plus but not required.
