Cornelis Networks is seeking a results-drivenDirector of Product Management - Storage Ecosystem. The primary focus of this role is to drive the qualification and technical support of Cornelis networking products with global storage providers. You will ensure that Cornelis NIC and Switch design wins are never gated by end-customer storage requirements. By working directly with storage vendors tovalidateour products and secure listing as a compatible network provider, you will enablethe deliveryof high-performing, scalable end-to-end solutions.This roleoperatesin an AI-enabled product management environment,utilizingmodern tools to scale impact, accelerate insight, and improve execution velocity.
Key Responsibilities
Qualification Strategy & Ecosystem Prioritization:
- Strategic Roadmap Alignment:Define the storage ecosystem roadmap byworking withstorage providers to maximizeCornelismarket penetration and customer adoption.
- Requirement Translation:Drive a clear understanding of storage-specific technical and business requirements toestablishtargets and priorities that define a successful product roadmap.
- ValueProposition Development:Develop strong product value propositions that highlight the performance benefits of coupling Cornelis networking with specific storage offerings to ensure clear market differentiation.
- Technical Validation & Engineering Engagement
- Technical Relationship Management:Establishand maintain deep technical relationships with targeted storage providers to drive the validation and qualification of Cornelis NICs and switches within their ecosystems.
- Architectural Collaboration:Partner with Cornelis architects and systems engineers to translate storage workload requirements into actionable hardware PRDs and technical checklists.
- Next-Gen Architecture Influence:Lead technical engagement on next-generation storage and networking system architectures to ensure Cornelisremainsat the forefront of AI and HPC innovation.
Product Qualification & Certification Lifecycle:
- Certification Ownership:Own the end-to-end process of achieving official product qualification, ensuring Cornelis is listed as a compatible network provider on partner websites and reference architectures.
- Phase-Gate Governance:Develop and drive product phase-gate review materials that capture the status of storage validation, qualification milestones, and roadmap date changes.
- Source of Truth:Maintainthe "source of truth" for storage-related roadmap commitments tomanagemarket expectations and internal investment priorities.
Strategic GTM & Sales Integration:
- GTM Activation:Activate Go-To-Market activities with storage partners, including co-selling initiatives, integrated sales collateral, and joint marketing efforts.
- Sales Enablement:Produce technical checklists, sales training, and customer-ready integration guides to accelerate the adoption of end-to-end networking and storage solutions.
- Revenue Success:Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to drive OEM design wins and ensure pipeline opportunities arenotlost due to a lack of storage partner support.
Partnership Governance & Executive Alignment:
- Executive Leadership Alignment:Establishand lead regular executive leadership alignment meetings between Cornelis and storage partners to ensure resources and investment priorities are synchronized.
- Business Case Optimization:Buildand improve hardware-focused business cases (including price-performance and TCO models) to influence pricing and partnership decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's(min)Master's(preferred)in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS
- 5+ years of direct product management ownership for highperformance networking hardware, specifically NICs and/or Ethernet/InfiniBand switches, delivering products into production data center environments.
- 5+years'experiencesupportingnetworking hardware with a deep understanding of networking interconnectsincluding:InfiniBand, RoCE, Omni-Path, Ethernet.
- 5+yearsexperienceworking withstorage providersandOEMs/ODMs to drive design wins.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools or workflows to support product management activities such asrequirementscapture, competitive analysis, content creation, roadmap tracking, and executive communication.
PreferredQualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstratedownership of hardware PRDs and hands-on experience driving phase-gates from concept, to plan, development, launch, sustaining production, and EOL.
- Experiencecreating andmaintaininghardware-focused business cases (price-performance, TCO, BOM/cost models) to influence pricing and product decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to align architecture, silicon design, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams towardtimelydecisions.
- Experience producing technical checklists, sales training, and customer-ready integration guides to accelerate product adoption.
- Familiarity with how datacenter workload characteristics (large-scale model training, inference at scale, HPC)areimpactedby storage and network performance.

At Cornelis Networksyour base salary is only onecomponentof your comprehensive total rewards package. Your base pay will bedeterminedby factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and location relative to the hiring range for the position. Depending on your role, you may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, including an annual bonus or sales incentives.
