Job description

Azteca Milling LP, the producer of MASECA, is a division of Gruma Corporation. With over 70 years of 
experience, Gruma is the world's largest producer of corn masa flour.  


Azteca Milling L.P. has an immediate opening for a Tortilla Sales Manager. This position is responsible for 
the sales of corn flour to businesses that use corn flour to make tortillas, chips, and other food products. 


Maintain existing customer base.  
Identify market and business opportunities.  
Achieve budgeted sales volume growth expectations.  
Arrange for product testing opportunities.  
Review sales trends on a regular basis.  
Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales.  
Travel as required to maintain and service the customer base and generate additional business.  
Co-supervision of support staff, Technical Services, and Sales Coordinators.  
Develop expertise with both the tortilla processing equipment and the product line for corn 
tortillas.  
Support the Trade Show activities.  
Develop good working relationships with other departments (accounting, QA, Technical 
Services, Operations, Customer Service, Warehousing, Transportation, HR, etc.)  
Become thoroughly knowledgeable about the business of our customers and potential 
customers.  
Generate weekly and monthly reports as required.  
Develop strong business relationships with customer base.  
Perform other duties as assigned. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE  
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year university; plus, three to four years of related sales experience 
and/or training; *Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the 
above. 


Ability to write reports and business correspondence.  
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, 
clients, customers, and the public.  
Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commission, proportions, percentages, and volume.  
Bilingual English & Spanish required.

Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 plus 10% Discretionary BonusOur Full Benefits Package includes Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life insurance and AD&D Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts. Additionally, we offer a 401(k) plan with matching, Paid Vacation, Sick Pay, and 8 Paid Holidays.
