Job description

Oaktree is a global investment manager specializing in alternative investments. With more than $220billion in assets under management, the firm focuses on credit, equity, and real‑estate opportunities while maintaining a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and diversity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new and existing investments through credit analysis, cash‑flow modeling, collateral review, and relative value analysis.
  • Conduct market and collateral research to support investment decisions.
  • Structure, execute, and manage private credit investments and monitor portfolio risk.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other investment‑committee materials.
  • Develop and enhance analytical tools for structured real‑estate credit investing.
  • Partner with the Asset‑Backed Finance team and other investment strategies on underwriting and portfolio management.
  • Coordinate with financing providers, third‑party technology partners, and internal stakeholders to support investment activities.
  • Support client communications and marketing initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential credit investment experience at an asset‑management firm or investment bank.
  • Strong experience analyzing non‑agency RMBS and structured credit investments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in underwriting, valuation, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg, Intex, CoreLogic, and non‑agency mortgage data sets.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in mathematics or science strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $250,000–$275,000. In addition, individuals will be eligible for discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, industry knowledge, and prior training and education.
