Job description

Overview
Calling All Vet Med Students: Your Greenville Adventure Awaits!
Externship at Animal Care of Greenville
Looking for an externship that's more than just shadowing and watching from the sidelines? Come get your hands (and scrubs) into the action at Animal Care of Greenville in beautiful Greenville, North Carolina!
We're a small-town clinic with big-time surgical capabilities and an even bigger personality. Our team is welcoming, wicked smart, and always ready to teach. You'll see a wide range of cases-routine wellness, emergency medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery-and you'll leave with the kind of real-world experience that makes your resume and your confidence stand out.
โœจ What makes us special?
  • We're a teaching hospital at heart-expect mentorship, not micromanagement
  • You'll be part of the team, not just a fly on the wall
  • Surgery, radiology, diagnostics-you'll get exposure to it all
  • We laugh a lot, we learn a lot, and we make time for real talk about life in vet med
  • Located in vibrant Greenville-home to ECU, great eats, local trails, and warm southern charm

Who should apply?
Vet students who:
  • Are passionate, curious, and ready to dive in
  • Want to learn from a team that takes care of pets and each other
  • Like a little humor with their hematology
  • Prefer barbecue to snow (it's North Carolina, y'all!)

Flexible scheduling available. Externships can be customized based on your interests and academic requirements.
Ready to make some core memories (and maybe scrub in on a TPLO)?
We'd love to meet you. Come learn, grow, and laugh with us at Animal Care of Greenville.
Apply now and let's get this externship on the books!
