POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a result-oriented person – the kind of contributor who is willing to get into the details and wants to make a big difference for our business by being a part of developing best-in-class systems solutions to support our diverse business teams.  This position will be coached to research and resolve problems, develop specifications from business requirements, coordinate technical support, and contribute to software and process solutions for Client supported Applications. The Business Technical Analyst will participate in creating solutions, will develop specifications or process diagrams, produce deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements.  This position is will participate in gathering, compiling, testing and synthesizing information with regard to core technology, processes or systems.  

JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate prioritization process
  • Perform User Story Analysis and extracts requirements for stories
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of the business requirements   
  • Develops and executes functional test cases.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with business customers.
  • Works with customers in defining and proposing alternative solutions for changes and break fixes.
  • Provides input on solution and business requirement document.
  • Gain enough technical details of a project to participate in the estimations process.
  • Supports implementation of process improvements, best practices, and high quality solutions.
  • Provides system support for production issues by troubleshooting and recommending solutions.
  • Performs organizational tasks regarding change control, incident management and audit.
  • Works with product owner and customer to identify and document requirements that will be used to produce systems requirements documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years business or configuration experience in Business Analyst or Developer role
  • Ability to stay organized.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of service and change using Agile Methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing within own team and business.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Proven to be able to work well under pressure.
  • Competent understanding of Business Analyst processes including requirement gathering and delivery

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field preferred.
  • ITL Foundation Certification preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This position is in an office/desk work setting. 
  • Location Lewisville, TX.  Five days per week in-office required.   
  • Contributes to department process improvement activities.
  • Help document and coordinate go-live activities. 
  • Participate with creating business process diagrams.
