Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Software/Core Engineer III to support a large-scale mobile application deployment ecosystem. This role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing self-service tools that enable development teams to automate application deployments across mobile and enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), REST APIs, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation. This position requires close collaboration with development teams and business stakeholders to improve deployment efficiency, scalability, and overall software delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Build and enhance self-service tools that streamline application deployment processes.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs supporting enterprise-scale applications.
  • Create, optimize, and automate deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and CI/CD best practices.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve release efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security, quality, and development standards.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and debug applications to maintain high levels of system reliability and performance.
  • Monitor application health and implement enhancements for scalability and maintainability.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making for enterprise applications.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed Jira user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Support infrastructure improvements that enable reliable and efficient deployment automation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • 5+ years of experience developing front-end applications using Angular or similar modern framework.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • 2+ years of experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD automation and deployment best practices.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools.
  • Experience with Jira and Agile development methodologies.
  • Mobile development experience with iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
  • Experience building and maintaining enterprise web applications.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability analysis, application security, and remediation practices.
  • DevOps experience supporting cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
