Job Description:
The Department of English's award-winning Core Writing Program invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors in Rhetoric and Composition starting in September 2026. The selected candidates may teach up to two 3-credit sections of ENGL 1001 (Introduction to Rhetoric and Composition).
Requirements: The Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition is preferred. Candidates with a Master's degree in Rhetoric and Composition, Writing Studies, or English are considered if candidates bring demonstrated understanding of the discipline of Rhetoric and Composition. Demonstrated excellence in teaching first-year writing is required. Experience in WAC/WID programs is preferred.
