POSITION SUMMARY

Production Associate I is responsible for performing basic mechanical assembly tasks under close supervision. This role focuses on learning core assembly processes, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and supporting senior assemblers as needed.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Perform basic part cleaning and preparation using hand tools and portable grinders.
  • Assist with drilling, tapping, and reaming operations under guidance.
  • Install simple moving parts (e.g., bearings, fan blades) and verify free movement.
  • Support tube preparation and cleaning for tube‑to‑tube‑sheet welding.
  • Assist with tube insertion tasks as directed.
  • Position parts manually or with lifting equipment after training.
  • Maintain 5S standards, including tool organization and work‑area cleanliness.
  • Follow safety procedures and work instructions at all times.
  • Exhibit professional demeanor. Read, understand, and follow routings and work instructions.
  • Read basic Manufacturing Drawing / Prints.
  • All other duties assigned.

  • Requires the ability to set, adjust and secure tooling using various hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Exhibits good interpersonal skills, team building and leadership characteristics.
  • Must have the ability to become company-certified in overhead crane usage. Company cranes are controlled remotely from the ground.
  • Be able to deal with change and respond quickly to a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • All other duties as assigned.
