Job description

Position: Pre-Assembly Team Member

Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

The Pre-Assembly Technician is responsible for preparing and assembling components used in the production of electrical harnesses and assemblies by accurately cutting wires to specified lengths, crimping terminals and connectors, and welding wires and components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and bills of materials, and a commitment to safety and efficiency while ensuring all pre-assembly work is completed accurately and on schedule. The technician works closely with production teams tomaintainworkflow, verify product quality, manage materials, and support thetimelycompletion of customer orders.

Duties/Responsibilities of Pre-Assembly

  • Read andcomprehendinstructions and follow established procedures.
  • Cutting, crimping, and weldingofwireharness assemblies.
  • Assemble BOMS, Kits, Pre-Assembled products as well as closing BOMs.
  • Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to the supervisor.
  • Quality checks all harnesses before shipping them to the customer.
  • Ability to work on repetitive tasks forlong periodsof time.
  • Work with your team to resolve production issues.
  • Work with Pre-Assembly Team Leader for scheduling.

The position will have other duties not specifically defined above that are essential for the overall success of SurePoint Ag.


Being a member of the SurePoint Ag Systems Team

In addition to the specific duties detailed above, you are expected to provide support and assistance in achieving the overall goals and objectives of SurePoint Ag Systems through collaboration, teamwork and communication.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

A high school diploma (GED) is preferred.
