Job description

As a Construction Manager/COR, you will perform construction management, technical oversight and contract administration support functions in support of moderate to complex Federal and leasing projects.ย 

The Office of Facilities Management is responsible for providing facilities related solutions and services to Federal tenants located in over 8500 owned and leased workspaces across the nation. ย 

We are currently filling 30 vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Qualifications:

The GS-12salary range starts at $89,508 per year.ย ย ย 
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.ย ย 
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service.ย 

Specialized experience is experience applying engineering methods and techniques and construction practices related to building systems (e.g. heating, ventilation, air conditioning, architectural finishes, electrical systems, fire protection systems, or plumbing systems, etc.); defining requirements with customers; developing construction cost estimates; inspecting construction; administering construction contracts; and reading and interpreting engineering and architectural plans and specifications. Such experience must also include independently managing projects and/or large portions of projects (balance scope/quality, schedule and budget) requiring the services of multiple disciplines from project initiation phase through project closeout.
