Job Summary
This position will operate a cash drawer by taking orders of customers and handling store receipts and money
Essential Functions
  • Maintain accurate accounts of cash that is in the cash drawer containing a set amount of various denominations of bills and coins
  • May also process credit and debit card transactions as well as facilitating check payments
  • Responsible for taking customers orders and payments and giving back an y change due to them and giving them a copy of their receipt
  • Maintaining a copy of the merchants receipts
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous Cashier experience is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Previous experience handling cash
