General Information
This internship position will run from May 26th - August 14th with the possibility of extension. We are offering a pay of $10 per hour for up to 24 hours per week. This is an in-person position based in Atlanta, GA. Below are the requirements and descriptions for the role. Please read through all of the descriptions and apply if you meet the requirements.
Overview: GetMXD is looking for a Marketing Intern to support the execution of digital marketing and community initiatives across our platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply online, curious about audience behavior, and excited to help grow a modern, community-driven brand. The intern will work closely with the marketing team to support content, social channels, email marketing, and customer engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze performance across GetMXD's social platforms, including posting cadence, engagement, and audience growth; assist in creating performance reports and insights
  • Support community engagement by interacting with followers across platforms, responding to comments and messages, and helping foster a positive brand presence
  • Assist with content creation efforts, including contributing ideas, supporting execution, and helping on set during content shoots as needed
  • Support the management and upkeep of GetMXD-owned playlists and branded content channels
  • Research and identify relevant online communities, platforms, and digital spaces aligned with GetMXD's audience and growth goals
  • Assist in developing copy for marketing, automation, and retention emails that reflect GetMXD's voice and tone
  • Monitor MXD's contact email for support, questions, and inbound sales
  • Publish and optimize short-form video content (e.g., YouTube Shorts) to support discovery and engagement
  • Support customer re-engagement initiatives through thoughtful, personalized outreach across approved communication channels
  • Provide general marketing support across campaigns, launches, and ongoing initiatives
