What Can You Expect Working in the Web & Digital Media Intern Position 


The  Web & Digital Media Intern supports the Senior Digital Media Producer /  Web Designer and the Sales & Marketing team by helping keep our WordPress  websites and digital content current, accurate, and on  brand. This is a hands-on summer role designed to provide real-world  experience in web content management, page building, and digital asset  production while contributing meaningful work that reduces backlog and  improves speed of execution.


Responsibilities 


Supports ongoing WordPress website updates and  improvements (copy, formatting, images, and basic layout edits).

Builds and  updates pages primarily using Bricks Builder.

Assists with  updates in legacy page-builder environments as needed (e.g., Visual Composer).

Creates,  resizes, and optimizes digital assets for web and campaigns using Adobe  Creative Suite; Canva may be used when it improves speed and workflow.

Performs QA  checks on web pages (broken links, form testing, mobile responsiveness,  cross-browser review).

Supports SEO  fundamentals (page titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt text, internal  linking) under direction.

Helps maintain  organized digital files, templates, and documentation, so work is repeatable  and easy to hand off.

Assists with  small experiments that improve efficiency (e.g., checklists, content audits,  or AI-enabled workflow ideas) as assigned.

Requirements


Minimum Qualifications 

Currently  pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Web Design/Development, Digital  Media, Graphic Design, Marketing Technology, or a related field.

Experience  building and editing pages with WordPress.

Working  familiarity with Bricks Builder (school, personal, or internship projects  acceptable).

Willingness and  ability to work in a mix of modern and legacy tools, including occasional work  in Visual Composer.

Basic  understanding of web best practices (layout, typography, image optimization,  accessibility basics).

Experience  creating digital assets in Adobe Creative Suite; comfort using Canva is a  plus.

Strong attention  to detail and ability to follow brand standards.

Ability to  manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly.


Preferred Qualifications 

Basic understanding of SEO and web analytics concepts.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (helpful for minor adjustments and troubleshooting).

Portfolio or examples of web/digital work (class projects, personal sites, or internships).

The compensation range provided for this role is an estimate based on available market data. Compensation - $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
