Copy Center Associate

Location: Minneapolis, MN 55411
(Temp-to-Hire opportunity)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
 


About the Role

Seeking a Copy Center Associate to join our team at the Minneapolis Public Schools Print Center. In this role, you’ll support daily operations in a busy copy and print environment, handling print jobs from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for someone with mailroom, print production, or scan center experience who is looking to grow into a long-term role.


Key Responsibilities
  • Process print requests, send jobs to printers, and perform finishing and packaging.

  • Assist with mailroom duties as needed.

  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain copy/print equipment.

  • Ensure accuracy and quality of completed jobs.

  • Lift and move paper boxes (up to 55 lbs).

  • Provide excellent customer service to school staff and internal teams.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of related experience in mailroom, print, or copy center operations (5 years preferred).

  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn technical equipment.

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy paper boxes.
