As we continue to grow, we're looking for talented individuals, like you, to join our team. Our people are genuine, creative, and proactive problem-solvers who move fast, move mountains, and succeed together.
A Medline internship provides real-world, hands-on experience where you can make a true impact. Beyond the work itself, the summer experience includes enriching opportunities such as social and networking events, leadership presentations, community service activities, and more. Through meaningful work and professional development experiences, you'll build a tangible skillset that helps set you apart from your peers.
Our internships span a variety of business areas and are open to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. Designed to support both personal and professional growth, the 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August in one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.
As an RPA & Agentic AI Software Technologies Intern on the Digital Automation team, you will gain hands-on experience working at the intersection of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Agentic AI. You will collaborate with our Information business, and development teams to identify opportunities to automate and improve business processes using technologies such as UiPath, Copilot Studio, and AI/agentic automation frameworks.
This internship provides exposure to real-world enterprise automation projects and the opportunity to learn how AI agents and RPA can work together to transform business processes.

  • Work on real-world automation projects throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand user needs, contribute to UX design, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Assist with documenting business processes, automation workflows, AI agent designs, technical specifications, test cases, and solution architecture.
  • Learn and apply best practices related to responsible AI, security, governance, exception handling, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop automation.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in Agentic AI, RPA, generative AI, low-code development, and intelligent automation, and recommend innovative ideas for improving business processes.

Qualifications:
