Job description

As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team. We are currently looking for someone who is team-oriented, innovative, great at helping customers, and someone who is looking for an opportunity to use their skills and talents to grow professionally.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for responding to service calls for clients who need repair on their office technology equipment. You will travel to the client location, diagnose the problem, and make necessary repairs on their copier or printer. You will also inspect the machine and perform the necessary routine and preventative maintenance and replace any parts that are nearing expiration. You will communicate the status of repairs to the client and order parts and schedule a return visit if it isn't possible to repair the printing device immediately.

You will be provided with uniform shirts, a laptop, a smart phone allowance, and company vehicle and will be responsible for maintaining accurate car stock and inventory count.

We offer a competitive rate between $20-25 per hour based on experience, plus a bonus program and a full benefits plan. This position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. We offer full training and welcome candidates to apply from other industries or from technical training programs.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Training through employment or a technical college in automotive repair, computer repair, or aviation or a similar field is preferred; personal experience is also considerable.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Clean driving history with no DUI convictions or reckless driving infractions in the past 5 years.
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
  • Clean cut appearance; no offensive tattoos are permitted, and excessive tattoos may require covering.
  • Must have parking available to take a company vehicle home every day.
