Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing

Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience, with some level 1 or 2 experience preferred.
License: Any active state RN license or compact license accepted.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH.
Must-Have:
Must have EPIC experience.
Must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.
Must have experience with stable chronic ventilators.
IV start experience preferred.
Travel experience preferred.
Availability to work every other weekend and holiday is required.
Description:
Winter jobs available for a 13-week contract.
Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6.
For contracts of 48 hours, overtime is paid out after 48 hours.
Traveler will float at the discretion of management.
Assignments may include floating to other units based on need and skill set.
Floating may occur within the facility or to another facility nearby.
Patients may include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census on the unit is expected to be around 23 patients.
Patient diagnoses may involve COPD, CHF, AKI/CRF, PND, ARDS, COVID, flu, GI bleed, and other intermediate care issues.
Special equipment includes IV pumps, cardiac monitors, and tube feeding systems.
Skills required include managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, tracheostomy care, and telemetry monitoring.
Candidates must be comfortable floating based on the job description with no restrictions or special requests.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Charting experience with Epic is required for all inpatient nursing roles.
Maximum of 14 days of requested time off is allowed per contract.
Candidates who have previous employment with the facility need to disclose that information for rehire approval.
