Ability to work remotely: No - role requires on-site presence at Army installations to lead assessment execution
Job Summary
OSG is seeking a Senior Protection Assessment Team Lead to lead all phases of the Higher Headquarters Assessment (HHA) and serve as the primary Government interface at each installation. This role conducts pre-assessment planning, develops the assessment schedule and team assignments, leads installation in-briefs and executive out-briefs, validates findings, ensures compliance with IMCOM methodologies, reviews and approves assessment reports, and mentors the assessment team to ensure standardized execution across Overall APP Integration, Assessment Management, Executive Engagement, Risk Management, and Quality Assurance functional areas.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of the Higher Headquarters Assessment.
  • Serve as the primary Government interface at the installation.
  • Conduct pre-assessment planning and coordination.
  • Develop the assessment schedule and assign team responsibilities.
  • Conduct installation in-briefs and executive out-briefs.
  • Validate assessment findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure assessment activities comply with IMCOM methodologies.
  • Review and approve draft and final assessment reports.
  • Coordinate corrective action recommendations.
  • Mentor assessment team members and ensure standardized execution.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Military Science, Security Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • Leading multidisciplinary assessment or inspection teams.
  • Army installation operations or headquarters staff experience.
  • Physical Security, Antiterrorism, Mission Assurance, Emergency Management, or Law Enforcement programs.
  • Executive briefings and senior leader engagement.
  • Risk assessments and vulnerability analysis.
  • Report development and quality assurance.
  • Corrective Action Program development and follow-up.
  • Required Certifications: Active Secret Security Clearance; DoD Cyber Awareness Training; OPSEC Level I; Antiterrorism Level I Awareness; FEMA ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700, and ICS 800.
  • Clearance Level Required: Active Secret (Top Secret eligibility preferred)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred Certifications: Physical Security Professional (PSP); Certified Protection Professional (CPP); Project Management Professional (PMP); Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; Mission Assurance or Emergency Management certifications; Top Secret clearance or eligibility.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Work is performed in both office and field environments, including on-site assessments at Army installations. Must be able to walk, stand, and stoop for extended periods while touring facilities and grounds, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during site assessments.

Travel
  • Extensive travel required (up to 75%) to lead assessment execution at Army installations across CONUS.
