Job description

Two Rivers Coop is looking for a Feed Truck Driver at our Ark City location! This is NOT an over the road job home every night!

MUST HAVE CLASS B CDL LICENSE!!

Our Truck Drivers are critical to our customer service and Feed Mill operations. This position must be service-oriented, and knowledgeable about our feed products and services. Two Rivers Coop offers employment opportunities that include a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and a retirement plan for eligible employees. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver feed / grain to our Coop locations safely and in a timely manner
  • Assist with the mixing and bagging of feed, loading/unloading of customers and supplier trucks
  • Complies with all state and federal laws, codes and regulation
  • Provide excellent customer service – proactively communicating any opportunities or concerns
  • Perform daily checks and regular maintenance on the semi truck
  • Present a clean and professional appearance
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or (GED) and related experience and/or training that would allow successful completion of the job
  • A valid CDL with a safe driving record is required
  • Feed and/or feed mill experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Prompt and regular attendance
  • Ability to pay attention to details, monitor work for accuracy, and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to climb ladders or stairs ranging from 20’-180’ on structures and/or vehicles, ability to stoop, bend, reach and kneel when performing routine job duties, ability to use hands, fingers, and lift using shoulders/arms - this position will routinely lift 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. This position may be exposed to weather, grain dust, fumes, and/or loud noise.

The position is scheduled M-F and Saturday mornings. However, the workload is based on the customer’s needs and will fluctuate during peak seasons requiring additional hours.
