The Position:

Responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the culinary department. Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Prepares food items as directed by the Chef. Assists the Chef and kitchen staff in everyday food preparation.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work station according to the standards set by the Resort, including walk in coolers and storage areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring good safety and health practices throughout the culinary department, including emergency and security procedures.
  • Remains current on all Resort policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a proper and professional relation with all Resort staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred
  • 1 to 3 years working in a restaurant operation as a cook or cooks helper.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once. 
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
  • Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
