Job description

Our Savory Team Members prepare all of our food from scratch with a commitment to quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality. Whether working as a Prep Cook, Line Cook, or Dishwasher, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional food while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. You'll work collaboratively with the kitchen team, follow recipes and food safety standards, and help bring Tatte's mission and values to life every day.

We are looking for team members who:

  • Have flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ideally have at least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (Prep Cook and Line Cook).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prep Cook

  • Follow daily prep lists created by kitchen leadership.
  • Wash, chop, measure, and prepare ingredients.
  • Label, stock, and organize ingredients and food items.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate restocking needs.
  • Ensure food is properly stored and cooling temperatures are maintained.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
  • Assist chefs with food preparation and other kitchen tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Line Cook

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Portion, chop, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, and stoves.
  • Set up and break down workstations for each shift.
  • Monitor food and equipment temperatures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and utensils.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
  • Assist chefs with food preparation and other kitchen tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Dishwasher

  • Operate and maintain the dish machine.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of clean dishware, silverware, glassware, and cookware throughout each shift.
  • Keep the dish area and kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary.
  • Follow all sanitation and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Passion for food, hospitality, and teamwork.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred. At least 1 year of experience is preferred for Prep Cook and Line Cook positions.
