Compensation: $17-$19 per hour

Reports to: Kitchen Manager

Position Summary:

Knowledge of station scheduled to work on shift, and to prepare and execute all recipes and menu items to specification.

How to be Impactful:

Helps to create a positive experience for guests from the moment they enter our restaurant. Is personable, service-oriented, organized, high capacity, and adaptive.

A Day in the Life:

  • Facilitating the station, you are responsible for, ensuring that all items are prepared correctly & timely

  • Familiarizing with the station, setup, service and closing

  • Following State and County Health Code requirements for ware washing, cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment storage at all times.

  • Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and structure of all areas of the kitchen and other areas as assigned.

  • Maintaining a professional attitude of teamwork, cooperation, communication and accountability.

  • Meticulous attention to detail throughout the work shift.

  • Commitment to performing daily duties e.g. opening, closing, and side work.

  • Basic janitorial skills to clean up spills, broken glassware, etc. immediately.

  • Willingness to report any issues to management that cannot be addressed immediately.

  • Commitment to all around cleanliness.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Must Haves:

  • Positive and friendly attitude.

  • Flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays included).

  • Committed to outrageous hospitality and guest service.

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

  • Embodies teamwork and a willingness to go above and beyond.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for an extended period of time.

  • Ability to work in hot, humid environment, and be on your feet for 8+ hour shifts.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • 1 year of culinary experience (we will provide training as needed).
