HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
  • Performs a variety of dietary functions related to daily meal service in the hospital.
  • Performs general sanitation duties throughout department in all areas.
  • Works in dish room including operating machine, cleaning machine and cleaning dish room floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Cleans floors by mopping, scrubbing and operating floor machine.
  • Removes, trash, recyclables from kitchen.
  • Transports food to areas via truck or cart.
  • Delivers patient carts to floors.
  • Performs special cleaning assignments of all surfaces structural and equipment in the kitchen.
  • Puts away stock and cleans food storage areas.
  • Washes pots and pans in the pot sink area and stores pots and utensils in a clean and protected way.
  • Follows food safety rules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager which may include working similar positions like tray line server or cafeteria server.
  • Includes some driving duties associated with this position.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
  • High School graduate or GED certificate preferred.

Required Experience:
  • None

Preferred Experience:
  • 1-year experience related to janitorial, supply stocking, general utility work, warehouse, or customer service in a retail setting, food service, hospitality or healthcare.

Required Certification/License/Registry:
  • A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record is required (no more than 6 points) and must be maintained for the purpose of transporting food items between TMH locations.
