Description Pay Rate $19.91 per hour plus $.50 shift premium Swing shift At Foster Farms, our mission is creating great food and serving great moments. Position summary: The primary functions of this position are to clean, set up and assemble kitchen equipment, form batches of filling, shred cheese, chill filling, complete appropriate documentation as needed, and ensure filling is being produced in a timely manner for production. The cook assistant will need to be HACCP trained and document HACCP times and temperatures, as well as assist with inventories and housekeeping duties. Job Functions: Operate cheese grinder to grind cheese according to recipe Fill gondolas with ground cheese and ensured they are covered and label Obtain and fill containers, vats, or tubs of meat, beans, cheese, and other ingredients, and move them to the cook station as needed. Transport full gondolas to the cooler or cook station as required Position full gondolas of finished product at the chiller station and add chilling mixture to the batch Complete CCP1 & CCP2 HACCP documentation as required Review the work schedule, obtain paperwork, and prepare for operations At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties, and complete all required paperwork Attend required training sessions, including quality control, human resources, and safety. Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job Must be able to perform all job functions safely Must meet the company standards for the job Must be able to follow instructions Must be able to understand and follow all written SSOP's Must be able to understand SDS (Safety data sheets) Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift 50 lbs..
