POSITION SUMMARY:

Conway Medical Center (CMC) the #1 rated hospital in South Carolina on Google and a Forbes Best-in-State Employer for three consecutive years is recruiting a fellowship-trained, board-certified Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to build and shape a thriving Interventional / General radiology service line with collaborative, forward-thinking health system that is deeply committed to innovation, quality, and community. They will be joining an employed Breast Surgeon with tele-rad as general support.

You will work closely with a wide range of service lines including oncology, surgery, pulmonary, digestive health, ENT, and critical care to provide life-changing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions across the continuum of care. Scope of Services: 80% General and 20% Interventional Procedures.

Position Highlights:

  • Consultation Services: Providing timely consultation to emergency medicine physicians, general surgeons, primary care physicians, and other specialists regarding diagnostic and therapeutic options for patients.
  • Patient Care: Conducting pre-procedural patient assessment and post-procedural management and follow-up, often in a clinic setting.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: In a community hospital setting, the IR will expect to read 80% of general diagnostic imaging studies (X-rays, CTs, MRIs, ultrasound) as part of a mixed practice.
  • Quality Improvement: Participating in the hospital's quality monitoring and improvement programs.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

 5 Year Employment Agreement guaranteed annual base compensation of $800,000.

  • Sign-on Bonus: $100,000
  • Relocation Assistance:$25,000
  • $ 90.00 per wRVU above base target bonus potential.
  • Call: Flexible
  • Base Compensation: Up to $800k base with additional WRVU bonus potential
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match.
  • CME Allowances: 5 days off a year / $3k a year + cover costs of licenses, dues, etc.
  • Malpractice Insurance: Coverage provided by CMC.
