Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Individual will be a member of the engineering support team which provides staff support to CONVEX
Operations for desktop computer applications, the CONVEX Energy Management System, and the
CONVEX Transmission System. The selected candidate will perform database updates and changes,
display building, data link updates, remote terminal unit testing, retrieve transmission data for participants
on request and resolve a variety of computer issues/problems. In addition, the individual will be
responsible for facilitating CONVEX EMS SCADA and Security Program Data Base project work.

Passing EEI technical aptitude testing is required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma plus two years of formal technical training in computer science or electrical
engineering or the equivalent is required. Two to four years of related experience in such areas as
engineering, computers, or telemetry are required for the "B" level.
Position can be filled at the A or C Level, which is requiring Five to six years of related experience
required for the "A" level, zero to two years of related experience in such areas as engineering,
computers, or telemetry are required for the "C" level.
Individual will serve on-call and be available for emergency restoration assignments.
Individuals within the CONVEX Bargaining Unit will be given first consideration.
