The Role:
This position supports food and beverage operations for facility events by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with event setup and breakdown, transporting supplies and equipment, and ensuring efficient service for both banquet and concessions operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout all food and beverage areas of the facility.

  • Support banquet and concessions operations by transporting food, beverages, equipment, and supplies to designated areas.

  • Assist with pre-event and post-event setup and breakdown of food and beverage service areas.

  • Collect, clean, and store food service equipment, utensils, and service items.

  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage, rotation, labeling, and dating products.

  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas in accordance with company and health standards.

  • Move inventory, products, and equipment throughout the facility as needed.

  • Transport ice, food products, and beverage supplies to service locations.

  • Clean spills promptly and maintain safe, hazard-free work areas.

  • Restock supplies and assist with pulling inventory as needed.

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

  • Provide support to food and beverage teams to ensure efficient event operations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
  • High School degree/GED or equivalent is required.

  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, event operations, or facility support preferred.

  • Experience in a convention center, banquet, or high-volume service environment is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with food and beverage staff.

  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
