Job description

National Convenience Distributors (NCD) is the 4th largest full-line convenience store distributor in the Northeastern United States. We are seeking a motivated Food Service Territory Sales Representative to grow our food service business throughout Westchester County, NY and Connecticut. This is an outside field sales position requiring daily travel to customer locations. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, helping customers grow their business, and identifying opportunities to increase food service sales.

Candidates should reside in or near Westchester County, NY or Connecticut.


What You'll Do


  • Visit convenience store customers throughout your assigned territory.
  • Develop and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Introduce and promote food service programs, products, and promotional initiatives.
  • Train store personnel on food preparation, merchandising, and sales techniques.
  • Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Recommend new products and food service solutions based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to maximize customer success.

Qualifications


  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in foodservice, convenience stores, grocery, beverage, restaurant supply, wholesale food, CPG, or food distribution.
  • Experience managing customer relationships in a field-based sales environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to travel daily throughout the assigned territory.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and Criminal Background Check required
