The Associate Manager, Marketing Services is responsible for leading and executing POP advertising and promotional strategies that drive awareness, trial, and loyalty across Canadian Tire Petroleum and other Canadian Tire businesses. This includes fuel, convenience, car wash, propane, lottery, loyalty programs including the Petro Rebrand initiative. The role is responsible for budgeting, creative development, sourcing, production and deployment across the Gas+ and Petro Rebrand Network, including forecourt, in-store and highway signage. The role partners closely with internal & external stakeholders and external vendors to ensure brand consistency, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency & sustainability. The Associate Manager collaborates closely with cross functional teams to ensure all marketing initiatives align with business objectives and financial targets.
What You'll Do
Lead the end-to-end execution of marketing services programs across Canadian Tire Petroleum, including Gas+ and Petro-Canada branded locations, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Manage the development, production, deployment, and execution of point-of-purchase (POP) materials, promotional signage, planograms, and advertising programs across a network of approximately 274 retail locations.
Partner with internal stakeholders, Regional Business Managers, retailers, finance teams, creative agencies, and external vendors to successfully bring marketing initiatives to market.
Own the monthly planogram process, ensuring retailers have clear direction on signage installation, removal, and maintenance requirements.
Manage signage inventory and vendor relationships, coordinating production and distribution to support promotional programs and operational needs
Support key business initiatives including the ongoing Petro-Canada rebrand, loyalty programs, fuel, convenience, and car wash marketing programs.
Oversee operational marketing programs including highway signage, receipt roll inventory and distribution, and environmental programs.
Manage advertising and marketing budgets, including forecasting, accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis to ensure effective stewardship of approximately $5M in annual spend.
Ensure all marketing materials and programs meet brand standards, regulatory requirements, and operational guidelines while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Travel locally within the GTA as required to support site visits, retailer engagement, and vendor meetings.
This role requires 10-15% traveling within GTA
What You Bring
3 to 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, retail marketing, or a related field.
University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
Customer-centric mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven project management experience, with the ability to execute multiple initiatives and meet competing deadlines.
Experience managing POP, signage, promotional materials, or in-store marketing execution programs.
Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting, expense tracking, and reporting.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting multi-location retail, fuel, convenience, or franchise-based operations.

Broadband Salary Range:
$64,000 – $106,000Our typical hiring range is between $85,000 and $95,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
