Job description

We are an independent franchisee of ARCO AM/PM and are hiring for a full-time Store Manager for our gas station and convenience store location in Henderson. We are looking for a team leader who is hands-on, capable of motivating and inspiring others, and able to hold team members accountable in a fast-paced retail environment. The Store Manager must be capable of both leading and managing a team while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and store operations. Prior work experience in an ARCO AM/PM convenience store is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Motivate employees and manage employee conduct and performance.
• Handle scheduling, invoicing, and back-office paperwork.
• Perform cashiering and sales associate tasks as needed.
• Deliver and ensure quality customer service across all staff.
• Resolve customer disputes and escalated service issues.
• Maintain and implement corporate and company standards.
• Analyze monthly sales to improve profit margins and evaluate inventory.
• Train, guide, coach, and motivate team members, including car wash employees.
• Develop and implement sales and upselling strategies to boost store and car wash sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be 21 years of age or older, as required by Nevada law for the sale and service of alcohol and tobacco products.
• Must have prior management experience in convenience stores, fast food, or retail.
• At least 3 years of sales or retail experience required.
• At least 2 years of management experience required.
• Must be able to work a flexible 6-day-per-week schedule with approximately 45 hours per week.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to obtain a TAM Card, Sheriff Card, and Health Card (or obtain within timeframe established by company policy).
• Dependable, trustworthy, and hardworking.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English as required to perform essential job functions, including interacting with coworkers, customers, suppliers/vendors, or other legitimate business needs that must be communicated in English.
• This position is subject to pre-employment drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check conducted in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable laws.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand and perform physical labor for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to move in and out of cooler and freezer areas.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and squat repetitively.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 3 hours per day.
