PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a highly automated distribution facility seeking a skilled Maintenance Controls Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. In this critical role, you'll help ensure the reliability, efficiency, and performance of sophisticated material handling and automation systems that keep operations moving.

Location: Buckeye, AZ | Pay: $40-$46/hour | Schedule: 3pm-1:30am, Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Friday

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, and Building Management Systems (BMS).

  • Perform preventive maintenance on controls systems and material handling equipment.

  • Support conveyors, sortation systems, and other automated equipment.

  • Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs.

  • Work with engineers and vendors on controls installations and upgrades.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience with PLCs, automation controls, and electrical systems.

  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC fundamentals.

  • Understanding of 3-phase power systems, MCCs, and electrical safety practices.

  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems.

  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms, including CompactLogix and ControlLogix.

  • Able to work independently and safely with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with WAGO I/O, Siemens Step 7, CAN networks, or B&R systems.

  • Background in warehouse automation, distribution, or manufacturing environments.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $46.00 per hour
