Instrumentation & Controls Engineer – mid level
Houston, TX | Full-Time | Salary Range: $60/hr – $70/hr ($124,800k-$145,600k) DOE
 
Summary: Client is seeking is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is responsible for supporting and actively participating in detailed I&C design activities in a variety of off-shore and on-shore projects.
As a successful candidate, you will take ownership of applicable engineering deliverables such as Instrument Datasheets, Cable Schedules, Instrument Indexes, and I/O lists. You’ll aid in the creation of Design Drawings such as PLC Panel Layout Drawings, Junction Box Layout Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, Installation details, etc.
In this position, you will interface with project managers and other discipline leads to ensure accuracy and consistency across engineering packages, from the design to the construction phase.
 
Required Skills/Qualifications:
·     Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program.
·     8-12 years of Related experience in Instrumentation and Controls
·     Experience sizing control valves and relief valves using vendor software is preferred.
·     Knowledge of Fisher Valve Specification Manager, Emerson PRV2Size, and FE-Sizer preferred and important for job duties.
·     EIT or P.E. Licenses preferred, but not required.
