Job Title: PM Controls Engineer (Functional Lead)

Location: Chicago, IL or Elizabethtown, PA (Onsite, Mon–Fri)

Type: Contract (6–12 Months | Start ASAP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PM Controls Engineer (Functional Lead) to lead automation and process improvement projects within a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, including system installation, integration, and delivery of complex process equipment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in controls engineering, project management, and GMP-regulated environments, with a proven track record of delivering automation projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead automation project workstreams from planning through execution and delivery
  • Oversee installation and integration of process equipment, including motors, valves, and production systems
  • Manage on-site contractors and vendors, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Review and approve technical designs, ensuring seamless system integration
