Responsibilities
This role is within M.C. Dean's Critical Infrastructure Solutions division in Charleston, SC, supporting various contracts. The position provides hands-on exposure to project management in electrical contracting, with experience in both the pre-construction and construction phases of projects.
  • During the pre-construction phase, responsibilities include:

o Learning how to read drawings
o Review and manage electrical designs
o Perform takeoffs
o Quote subcontractors and material
o Prepare complete estimates
o Develop proposals
  • On the construction side exposure will include:

o Submittals
o RFIs,
o Scheduling,
o Financial analysis (including budgeting and forecasting)
o Resource management.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • MUST BE an active duty service member who is approaching or within his/her 180-day window of separation from the military
  • HS Diploma or GED
