Description

Precision Wire & Controls is seeking motivated Early Career Electricians who already have practical electrical experience and are ready to continue developing their skills alongside experienced Journeymen, Controls Technicians, and Engineers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately 1-2 years of electrical experience who wants to grow toward an apprenticeship or journeyman-level career.

If you've already spent time working with conduit, pulling wire, reading basic prints, or assisting on industrial electrical installations, we'd like to talk with you.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and modification of industrial electrical systems.
  • Pull wire and install conduit (EMT, PVC, RMC, etc.).
  • Read and work from basic electrical drawings and blueprints.
  • Use hand and power tools safely.
  • Support experienced electricians on industrial and commercial projects.
  • Maintain safe work practices while traveling to customer sites throughout the United States.

This position is a great fit if you:

  • Have about 1-2 years of hands-on electrical experience
  • Have worked in an industrial or commercial environment
  • Know your way around pulling wire, conduit, and basic electrical tools
  • Want to continue developing your skills toward becoming an Apprentice or Journeyman electrician

This position probably not a fit if you:

  • Are looking for your very first electrical job
  • Are not able to travel extensively
  • Prefer residential electrical work only

Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Approximately 1-2 years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices.
  • Experience using common electrical hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90%.

Preferred

  • Industrial electrical experience.
  • Enrollment in or desire to pursue an electrical apprenticeship.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Experience bending conduit and pulling wire.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings.
  • English/Spanish bilingual.
