Job description

Supply Chain Intern
Supply Chain Intern will work directly with the Buyers and functional departments
Location: East Farmingdale, NY
Pay Rate: $19 - $22
Your Challenge:
  • Update ORACLE "Promise" Date, as applicable for supplier changes - via approval from Product Line PM
  • Track open purchase order issues and drive to resolution
  • Track open Supplier purchase order status to ensure supplier delivery commitments remain on time to KTL
  • Provide timely notification to PLT Planners regarding any supplier delivery slippage.
  • Collaborate with internal resources and suppliers to remedy supplier slippage and/or supplier requests/needs.
  • Maintain and track supplier NCRs and RTV for Supplier Returns. Expedite, as needed, internal stakeholders for supplier return product.
  • Ensure TR supplied material is sent out from the facility (on time) to support suppliers' delivery date.
  • Expedite both internal and external stakeholders as needed to resolve procedure submittal, review and approval

Your Expertise:
  • US Citizen (only)
  • Computer database experience
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Currently working towards/graduated from a BA in Business or Supply Chain (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
