Description:
Do you have leadership skills? Have you been told you would make an excellent leader/manager one day? Well, maybe today is the day! We are seeking Assistant Managers to join our sales teams!
Additional $2 per hour shift differential for any time worked between 10 PM and 6 AM. Plus, an extra $1 per hour for weekend shifts, 6 AM to 10 PM, Saturday and Sunday.
The Assistant Manager works with the Store Manager to perform various tasks involved in the overall operation of the store, including measuring business trends and maximizing sales/profitability by developing staff and by controlling expenses, shortages and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The Assistant Manager is responsible for overall management of the store in the absence of the Store Manager. The employee performs all work according to the vision and values of Jiffy Trip Stores and Hammer Williams Company.
Requirements:
High School graduate or GED preferred. Knowledge of health department standards is helpful. Previous experience with Point of Sales equipment and credit card machine preferred. Must have the ability to exchange currency at point of sale. Previous Assistant Management background is a plus.
