Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for the overall sales and account management of the group purchasing services offering, including the planning, execution, and prioritization of assigned clients and prospects within a defined territory. This role requires approximately 60% travel, including regular client visits and in-territory travel. The Account Manager plays a key role in driving growth and engagement within the CPS banner programs and services and is eligible for a performance-based bonus.

Job Responsibilities
  • Through effective territory management, retain current accounts and grows TPV and compliant volume and revenue through preferred suppliers.  
  • Establishes and maintains effective customer rapport, and maintains mutually beneficial business relationships with clients in the region.  
  • Represents the organization at various conferences and trade events.  
  • Utilizes social media and sales tools to actively promote the CPS brands
  • Responsible to drive adoption of eCPS programs (stickiness) including menu management systems, controlled order guide, eCPS purchasing platform adoption, eCPS instructor, and other resources and tools to promote overall value of program 
  • With support from Inside AM’s, analysis data and purchase analytics to identify, maintain, and develop organic growth opportunities.   
  • Reviews and verifies accuracy of file transmissions and investigate identified reporting gaps.
  • Actively maintains CRM systems and data for existing and future customers through ongoing business reviews and sales contacts

Working Conditions : At least 60% of the time is spend on the road visiting clients, travelling, and being exposed to various institutions and businesses.

Qualifications
  • College or University graduate in Foodservice Management, Health Services, Administration, Hospitality or Marketing preferred  
  • Must have a minimum 2-year college degree or diploma  
  • Minimum 3 years experience as sales manager, operational manager, in healthcare, institutional foodservice or hospitality setting. 
  • Operations experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality or food and beverages would be an asset
