Ourclient, a global leader in aviation services, is seeking a highly skilledFinancial Controller to oversee and manage their accounting and financialreporting functions. This is a key leadership position reporting directly tothe CEO, with responsibility for maintaining financial systems, ensuringcompliance with GAAP, and leading an accounting team of 8 full-time employees.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Overseeand manage the accounting and financial reporting functions.
  • Ensureaccurate and timely financial information.
  • Maintainand develop internal control procedures to protect company assets.
  • Prepareand review budgets, financial projections, and monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinatethe preparation and filing of federal, state, and international tax returnswith a third-party CPA firm.
  • Ensurecompliance with new accounting standards and emerging guidance.
  • Coordinateexternal financial statement audits and prepare requested documents.
  • Developand review accounting policies.
  • Managethe maintenance of fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
