Financial Controller - Rochester, MN

Our client, a leading provider of metal fabricated products and components, is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented financial controller to join their growing team. The financial controller will play a critical role in the financial health of the company by providing accurate and timely financial information, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

    Conduct variance analysis and prepare insightful reports for management.

    Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance.

    Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

    Oversee the audit processes.

  • Accounting Operations:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.

    Supervise the accounts receivable aging process and implement strategies to improve cash flow.

    Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.

    Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (GAAP).

  • Tax Compliance:
