  • Prepare and review reconciliations for cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Support intercompany accounting and consolidations as the organization continues to grow.
  • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including vendor setup, invoice coding, approvals, payment processing, and vendor communications.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve invoice processing, expense management, and AP workflows.
  • Help develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a rapidly scaling business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, automate manual tasks, and shorten the monthly close cycle.
  • Support ERP optimization initiatives and assist with future accounting system implementations.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, People Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, expense tracking, and employee-related accounting.
  • Assist the Controller with special projects, operational initiatives, and ad hoc financial analysis.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or high-growth startup or technology company experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
  • Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable, invoice processing, and expense management.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Intacct, or QuickBooks.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building processes from the ground up.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

What's in It for You?
  • Opportunity to join a rapidly growing technology startup during an exciting stage of expansion.
  • High visibility with executive leadership and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the finance organization.
  • Exposure to process improvement initiatives, ERP optimization, and finance infrastructure development.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where new ideas are encouraged and valued.
  • Competitive compensation, equity potential, comprehensive benefits, and strong long-term growth opportunities.
