Highlights of the Role
  • Highly visible position, right hand to the CFO, will be included in board and committee meetings
  • Not just debits and credits, strong operational aspect
  • 3 large projects planned for this summer
  • Growth path to VP, then to CFO – current CFO wants to retire in 4 years and groom this person to take over his role
  • CFO is hilarious, great sense of humor
  • The CFO has been there a year and has made a lot of changes and progress
  • Strong team
  • Can have a flexible schedule
  • 7.5% match on the 403b
  • Newly created role, they haven’t had a Controller in years and need a dedicated person to lead the function
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • Experience in nonprofit accounting strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
  • Experience improving processes and driving efficiency
