In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of maintenance, information systems technician (IT), and system admin (SA) training requirements and implementation of courseware to instruct and support the integration of Lockheed Martin Skunk Works® MD-5 Ground Control System (GCS) as part of the Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control System (UMCS)/MQ-25 customer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing highly creative training courses for Ground Control Systems (GCS), and command, control, communications, and intelligence (C4I) system. The ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise to support, brief, and train customer personnel on GCS capabilities and operations. The candidate will work with air vehicle pilots (AVPs), engineers, and simulation technicians to design, implement, evaluate, and document training and technical publications.
The successful candidate must have experience in utilizing technology-based multimedia applications applying both innovative concepts, methodologies, and technical skills, using multiple media tools for development of applicable courseware to include latest research trends in graphic design, software, and training development techniques. They should have experience with the instructional system design methodology and courseware development process.
The successful candidate must have working knowledge of the following technical areas that will be utilized for instructional material development and instruction related to GCSs and ancillary equipment: system integration, verification and validation, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology. In addition to, applications of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Candidate will provide system familiarization, installation, and operational training in both classroom and ship and shore environments.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Basic Qualifications
  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience operating and maintaining Ground Command and Control Systems and support equipment
  • Candidate must have experience with developing, planning, and facilitating training
  • Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting networks and computers
  • Active CompTia Sec + certification

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
