Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Nippon Sanso Matheson (NSM) is looking for (1) senior-level Control Systems Integrator to fill a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work with the Control Systems Manager to develop PLC and HMI software for new Air Separation Unit (ASU) plant control systems within the company as assigned, ensure assignments are completed within budget and on schedule, and communicate effectively with team members on project status and needs.



Essential Functions

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete PLC programming for new ASU plant control systems accurately and in a timely manner.

Complete integration of plant equipment (SCADA, low and medium voltage electrical systems, analyzers and sampling systems, etc.) into new ASU plant control systems accurately and in a timely manner.

Provide commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of all control systems hardware and software throughout on-site ASU plant start-up, and otherwise as needed.

Proactively coordinate with project managers, vendor engineers, field technicians, and contractors throughout the engineering, commissioning, and start-up phases of new ASU plants.

Assist with FAT (factory acceptance testing) and SAT (site acceptance testing) of all control systems hardware and software for new ASU plants. 

Assist the Control Systems Manager in the development of programming standards and library functions to be applied to future ASU plant control systems.

Assist the Control Systems Manager in training and certifying department technicians and operations teammates in efficient use of standard NSM control systems hardware and software.
