Job description

Overview

The Deepwater Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring wells, separators, compressors, and other equipment to ensure platform operations are running smoothly. The role involves completing compliance testing and platform paperwork and requires expertise in various control systems and subsea well operations. 

Responsibilities
  • Monitor wells, separators, compressors, and other equipment to ensure platform equipment is in good running condition. 
  • Complete monthly and annual BSEE/Coast Guard/ABS compliance testing of safety devices. 
  • Complete platform paperwork in a timely manner. 
Qualifications

Experience Required: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience in offshore oil and gas production control room operations. 
  • Experience with subsea wells, deepwater, and control room operations.
  • Allen Bradley or Delta V, Wonderware, Aker, ISSOW, 1SAP, SEMS experience
  • HPU Systems 
  • PLC & Pneumatic Control Systems 
  • Solar Turbine Compression 
  • Platform and high volume 
  • High volume Sub Sea Well Operations 
  • MS Office Suite knowledge
  • Ability to travel by helicopter or boat.
