Shift: Days (7:00-17:00) (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Description: Cath Lab Tech - Urgent Need

Address: 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ

Schedule: 4x10s with a flex start time between 6:30a-7:30a On call (preferred): Up to 10 days/month (average is 6) - Call starts either at 5p or 7p depending on staff there that day and ends at 6:30a - they are rarely called in, but will be scheduled with beeper if so - 30 min requirement from the hospital. If you come across someone not in that radius, they have on-call rooms to stay at

Position Summary: The Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R)/Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) serves as a member of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Team. Independently performs technical duties associated with procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assists physicians in performing procedures and assists nursing staff with patient care activities.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Catheterization Laboratory and equipment for procedures, maintain supply inventory, and support a clean environment of care.
  • Function as scrub assistant during diagnostic, interventional and all other procedures performed in the Cath Lab.
  • Function as hemodynamic monitor and control room operator during procedures; provides accurate recordkeeping of procedures.
  • Provides high quality radiographic imaging, which includes quality assurance and radiation safety.
  • Review documentation, including procedure orders and patient medical record; explain procedure, answer questions and provide a high level patient experience.
  • Maintain record of images, reports, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.
