Are you ready to be part of a team responsible for operating our modern, high-speed corrugator, a large machine that produces corrugated paper sheets? This dynamic role offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of the corrugator, from the wet end to the dry end and the control room. We run three shifts Monday to Friday with occasional overtime on Weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust machinery to produce high-quality corrugated sheets at maximum speed with minimal waste.
- Inspect units and finished products for quality defects and optimal product presentation
- Ensure proper tagging, and handling of units
- Communicate with team members via radio to coordinate production and maintain product quality.
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), maintain a safe, clean work area.
- Assist in various tasks throughout the facility as needed.
- Work effectively and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
Skills:
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
- Ability to effectively read a tape measure
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and concentration.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Push, pull, and stand for long periods on a production floor.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to work with sharp tools.
- Visual acuity and ability to hear instructions and warnings in a noisy environment.

This is a manufacturing environment that can be noisy with moving machinery. The facility can also be hot during the summer. We operate 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, with occasional Saturdays. You must be able to work varying shifts and overtime as required.
