The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic sports environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of marketing projects from intake, planning, execution, and final delivery.
  • Own the Marketing Department's project management platform (Asana or similar), including project templates, intake forms, workflows, automations, dashboards, reporting, and workload management.
  • Manage the department's project intake process, ensuring all requests are properly scoped, prioritized, assigned, and resourced before work begins.
  • Develop and continuously improve project management processes that increase efficiency, transparency, and accountability across the Marketing department.
  • Build detailed project plans, timelines, workback schedules, and creative briefs that clearly define project objectives, deliverables, target audiences, deadlines, and success metrics.
  • Evaluate team capacity and project priorities to balance matchday marketing, sponsorship activations, ticket sales campaigns, creative production, digital initiatives, and long-term brand projects.
  • Coordinate project kickoff meetings, status updates, creative reviews, stakeholder approvals, and post-project evaluations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring clear and consistent communication among internal stakeholders, league partners, agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate Partnerships, Ticketing, Communications, People & Culture, Soccer Operations, MLS, NWSL, and other departments to ensure marketing initiatives support organizational priorities and contractual obligations.
  • Assign project responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure accountability for project deliverables.
  • Ensure all marketing assets and campaigns meet Club brand standards, league requirements, sponsorship commitments, and project objectives.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and scope, and proactively identify risks and implement contingency plans when necessary.
  • Maintain department reporting and project dashboards that provide leadership with visibility into workload, timelines, and project status.
  • Identify workflow improvements that reduce bottlenecks, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance collaboration across departments.
  • Train and support department staff on project management processes and best practices.
  • Support matchday marketing operations, special events, and other Club initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment while managing confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the Club's match and event schedule.
  • Exceptional project management, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of workflow optimization, resource planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate strategic marketing priorities into actionable project plans with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to remain flexible and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven sports environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional sports, entertainment, or agency marketing experience.
